Registration for our fall programs is now open. All programs run from September to December. This season features a wide range of low-cost activities for all ages, including:

• Youth Pickleball Lessons & Adult Pickleball League
• Learn Basketball & Drop-in Basketball

Mark Your Calendars

Get involved and meet your neighbours at these fantastic community events:

• Rink Paint Bee: Help us get the rink ready for the season on Saturday, September 6th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We provide the supplies and a free bite to eat for all our amazing volunteers!
• Annual General Meeting (AGM): Join us on Wednesday, September 10th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the rink in Gerhard Herzeberg Park. This is your chance to learn about what the CPRA offers, see what positions are open on the board, and enjoy some pizza with the community.
• Pumpkins in the Park: A fun, family-friendly event scheduled for Saturday, November 1st, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Stay tuned for more details!

Join us at the Gerhard Herzeberg Park Rink at 7:00 PM for a FREE pizza supper! It's our way of saying thank you to the community and a great chance to connect with your neighbours. Following the meal, our official AGM will begin.

This is your opportunity to see who we are and what we do. We'll be recapping the past year's successes and looking ahead to the exciting programs and events planned for the future.

We are also looking for enthusiastic new volunteers to join our team! Fresh ideas and new energy are vital to keeping our community vibrant. We have several key positions available on the board, including:

• Events Coordinator
• Membership Coordinator
• Members at Large

If you're interested in making a direct impact, sharing your skills, or simply getting more involved, we would love to have you. No prior experience is necessary—just a desire to contribute to our wonderful community.

Whether you are considering a board position or just want to enjoy some pizza and learn more about your neighbourhood, we hope to see you there!

• Cost: Free to attend! All are welcome.

This family-friendly event is the first step in a vibrant community art project. We will be applying a fresh coat of bright white paint to the rink boards, creating a clean canvas for new murals. These murals will be designed and painted by talented students from École Cardinal Léger and École College Park School later this fall, turning our community rink into a public art gallery.

Volunteers are invited to gather at the rink from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. No painting experience is necessary—just a willingness to help beautify our shared space. All supplies, including paint and brushes, will be provided by the community association.

To show our appreciation for your hard work, we'll be providing a free bite to eat for all our amazing volunteers.

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend Labour Day morning connecting with neighbours, enjoying the park, and making a lasting contribution to our community. Let’s work together to prepare the rink for another great season!
