Welcome to the College Park Recreational Association (CPRA) website and programs. By accessing our website, registering for programs, or participating in any CPRA activities (whether registered/paid or free/drop-in), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of CPRA services, facilities, programs, events, and activities. Participation in any CPRA activity constitutes acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, please do not participate.
2. Participation in Activities
CPRA offers both registered programs and free / drop-in activities (such as open gym time, casual play sessions, community events, or other non-registered offerings).
By participating in any CPRA activity—whether it is a paid/registered program or a free activity—you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You (or your child/ward) are participating voluntarily and at your own risk.
- You have read and agree to the Waiver and Release of Liability below.
- You are responsible for ensuring that you (or your child/ward) are physically and medically fit to participate.
3. Waiver and Release of Liability
I, the undersigned participant, parent, or legal guardian, do hereby agree to allow the individual named herein to participate in the aforementioned activity(ies) offered by the College Park Recreational Association - CPRA.
I understand that participation in any CPRA activity (including free, drop-in, or registered programs) involves inherent risks of injury, illness, or property damage. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks.
I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the College Park Recreational Association - CPRA, its instructors, volunteers, board members, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages (including legal fees) for any injury, illness, disability, or death which may be suffered by the participant arising out of, or in any way connected with, participation in CPRA activities.
CPRA is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged articles.
This waiver applies to all activities, whether registered in advance or attended as a free/drop-in participant.
4. Code of Conduct
All participants, parents, and spectators are expected to:
- Be respectful and courteous to others.
- Follow instructions from CPRA staff and volunteers.
- Refrain from abusive, discriminatory, or unsafe behavior.
- Comply with all facility rules and safety guidelines.
CPRA reserves the right to remove any individual from an activity or facility for violating the Code of Conduct without refund.
5. Registration, Fees & Cancellations (where applicable)
- Registration is required for paid programs.
- CPRA or other Community Association membership is required to participate in paid programs (including soccer in conjunction with Saskatoon Youth Soccer).
- Fees are non-refundable once the program has begun except in cases of medical issues (with documentation) or at CPRA’s sole discretion.
- Fees may be refunded if the program does not meet required numbers to be able to run.
- CPRA reserves the right to cancel or modify programs due to low registration, weather, or other circumstances.
Free activities may be canceled or modified without notice.
6. Photography & Media Release
By participating, you grant CPRA permission to take and use photographs, videos, or other media of participants for promotional purposes (website, social media, newsletters, etc.). If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform staff at the time of the activity.
7. Privacy
CPRA collects personal information for registration and communication purposes. The only person we will share your contact information with is the instructor/facilitator of the program(s) you sign up for. We respect your privacy and will not sell your information.
8. Changes to Terms
CPRA may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
